This is much better camera work than my last post! This video is pretty long but it is a good look at the Shiver for 2008. I was riding singletrack beside a road while Marty the master cameraman zoomed beside me in a top down Mustang driven by Scott... so without further ado and featuring the beautiful BMC Shiver..enjoy the show..

Hey Melanie. Sweet Video! I love watching people riding. And the BMC is an awesome bike. I work part time at a bike shop, but unfortunately haven't seen any BMCs role through yet. I hope some day we start carrying them. And the powertap is awesome. Got a chance to demo the road unit. Good luck with the 2008 season. Hope this is your best year yet!

I just went to the BMC site to find out the weight and investigate since no one in town want to carry the bike in their shop (special order only). The site does not list weight how much does yours weigh? I do realize yours is on the lighter side having the XTR on it but I least I have something to go by. Sorry to keep bugging you and thanks for the replys.

Is it the bike that hauls or is that you putting out the watts? The bike looks great and I noticed you have the XTR lever shifters. I have the lx on my bike and I am not sold yet. Mine rub the disc alot and they don't always shift smoothly. Plus, my boyfriends disc brakes are much more responsive then mine (who needs brakes anyway). I have been into the bike shop so many times to get it dialed in I think they are ready to give me a new bike to just get rid of me. The only problem is they do not sell BMC. If I could get your bike form my price I would be in a dream.
