Hi Mel,

For building _base_ on the bike I have consistent foundation miles scheduled as well as hills on the trainer for strength. I think the hill intervals will be great for me (roughly 8x6min, cadence 55-65, HR averages 175, 3min rest inbetween). I'm wondering if that heart rate is too high for the early _base_ season. Hills are my weakness and I figured that getting a head start on that would be beneficial. Do you think I should do something with a lower heart rate or is it ok?
