I agree that the Maxxis Ranchero is a great tire for Maui. I know that is the tire that Danelle rode on the front last year in Maui to a second place pro finish... so a solid bet. It is really a comparison of two awesome choices so either will be good.

There are a couple of bike stores on Maui that sell the inflators so no worries.

it was great meeting you at XTC Vancouver today, congrats on the win! Thanks again for the wetsuit offer (I should have taken you up on it, I swam terribly or maybe the swim was long - yeah right!).
