Hands down, my favorite in Maui is the Maxxis Larson TT UST Tire. I think that one has all the fast rolling yet good traction features you would hope for on that kind of course.

I also think that the Maxxis Crossmark would be a good choice of rear tire on that course although I find that the Crossmark UST on the front doesn't handle quite as well as the Larson on loose corners so I would choose a combo of Larson front and Crossmark rear in that situation.

Every year Hawaii is a challenge with the loose and rocky conditions. Getting your tires in advance and training with them a bit is a good idea.
