Hi Luiz,
The Mimo is a good front tire. However, if it is VERY muddy, the knobs are very close together so it will not clear well. For mud where you need clearing, I would look at the Medusa.
Cheers!

Hi Luiz,
for sure that one works as a front tire... the only thing to think of it has short, closely spaced knobs which will be a problem in sticky mud on the front. just be careful and consider the conditions.
cheers, Mel

I've decided myself already Mel... i'll go with Mimo 1.9 front and rear. I've been training in Ilha Bela and I think we need a all around tire there as long we have lots of kinds of terrain. The only thing I'd change would be a Mimo 2.0 or 2.1 front tire...but I can't find here in Brazil...and the 1.9 is doing fine. About the mud, this weekend I rode there on Saturday... excelent...and then again on Sunday after a heavy rain at night: there were lots of parts of the course that I could'n ride because the tires were like that of AMA Motocross...and the deraileurs ? I couldn't see them ! But I realized it was like that for everybody, even for those with tires for mud. The mud was so thick that even those tires couldn't clear it. Mel, thanks for all your tips and lessons, they helped me a lot. Unfortunately my shoulder isn't good yet and I think I'll have to give your 2007 World Champ congratulations by the Forum... but in 2008 I'll be there. Bye, Luiz.
