I really enjoy reading about your experiences racing! I have come to realize just how profound the phrase "On any given day"! I will be racing again this year in Maui in the 50- 54 age group. I look forward to an enjoyable day on October 28th and I wish you the same!!!!! - Joni J.

Maui bound and determined

Great to hear you still talking like the Champion that you are. I remember your attitude in Maui last year...nobody was going to beat you, it just was not going to be possible given the facts. I expect to see the same again, and look forward to seeing this new swimmer in action. I know you can crush the bike. The run will come around as soon as you recover, and taper for the big day.

Enjoy some recovery time, and get fired up for the climb to the podium. - Andrew Sellars

i know you are going to use your experience in tahoe as fuel to
fire it up in maui. you are a total stud for hanging in there and
not accepting the DNF!!

see you in hawaii! - nicole

Hi Melanie,

Your commentary is top of podium, even if your stomach did not allow you to stand there. Maui is yours.
